Description:

As a Part-Time Leasing Consultant, you will provide a positive community experience to residents and effectively market and lease apartments to prospects, while building and developing a professional foundation to launch your career.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a positive customer service relationship and foster a sense of community where people want to live.
  • Assist with planning and hosting resident events.
  • Participate in hiring and training of new associates.
  • Handle service requests from residents.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units.
  • Assist residents with move-in and move-out processes.
  • Support the turn process for units.

How to Market and Lease Apartments:

  • Greet prospects, show models and available units, and highlight common areas.
  • Assist prospects with online applications.
  • Respond to internet leads, answer calls, and conduct tours following training guidelines.
  • Work to maximize occupancy and rent revenue.
  • Use established sales strategies to increase traffic and meet occupancy goals.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and competitors.

Administrative Tasks include:

  • Assist with market surveys.
  • Collect deposits and fees for move-ins.
  • Prepare lease paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain prospect and leasing data.
  • Inspect units regularly and prior to move-in.
  • Audit lease files and assist with bonus submissions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Desire to help others and positively impact the community.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluency in reading and writing English.
  • Basic to intermediate math skills.
  • Computer literacy.
