Job summary

RichSmith Development in Texarkana, AR is seeking a friendly, part-time Leasing Consultant to greet visitors, show available apartments, and support the leasing office with daily tasks. You will work closely with the Community Director to maintain high occupancy, process applications, coordinate move-ins/move-outs, renewals, and lease paperwork, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to handle basic office tasks (typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering phones).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office software and standard office administration and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first impression for all visitors to our Leasing Office.
• Assist the Community Director in managing the property.
• Meet with prospective residents, residents, vendors, and guests.
• Ensure maximum occupancy and high renewal rates by renting apartment units.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations, renewals, and apartment showings.
• Accurately complete paperwork for current and prospective tenants.
