Job summary

Busy Bees, part of BrightPath Kids network, invites energetic individuals to join our Carefree, AZ center as a part-time childcare staff member. Shifts run 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities include supervising children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, implementing developmentally appropriate activities per NAC and AZ standards, and partnering with families to support each child’s learning and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that is clean and allows children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
