Job summary

American Greetings Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Part Time Lead Retail Trainer to train merchandisers across our greeting card departments. The role partners with the Field Manager to identify training needs and schedule sessions while mentoring staff and providing feedback.

You will train on duties including servicing orders, inventory management, and seasonal changes, and you will build relationships with store personnel while promoting the brand and coordinating coverage for vacant

• Ability to train on duties including servicing an order and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Field Manager to identify training needs.
• Communicate with new and existing merchandisers to schedule training as needed while mentoring and giving feedback.
• Ability to train on duties including but not limited to, servicing an order, and inventory management and organizational activities.
• Build strong relationships with store personnel while promoting our brand.
• Identify and arrange coverage for vacant stores within their area.
• Continually work on improving your store and ensuring the merchandisers are successful.
• Responsible for merchandising of own small route of stores.
• Work with Field Manager and store personnel on major revision activity before, during and after setup.
• Knowledge of all fixture types across different accounts and ability to build fixtures as needed.
• Assign tasks and manage a team during revisions to complete the job.
• Communicate with Field Manager on all aspects of revision and follow up.
