Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in Social Work required.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in good standing in New Mexico.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for licensure and credentialing.
• 5 years of clinical experience post licensure preferred.
• Experience with student population in an academic health center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term individual therapy and needs-based assessments with referrals when needed.
• Maintain caseload and prioritize urgent student needs.
• Facilitate group counseling as needed.
• Produce confidential records per department standards using an EMR.
• Coordinate with community behavioral health partners for referrals.
• Participate in weekly department meetings and wellness activities.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and administration to support mental health services.
