Job summary

Renewing Me Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) to serve as an Addiction Counselor Supervisor for our SUD program. This independent contractor role offers up to 20 hours per month with an hourly rate of $50–$60, based on qualifications and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Maryland LCADC license is required.
• Experience supervising addiction counselors in SUD settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASAM criteria, levels of care, and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to addiction counselors and eligible SUD staff.
• Offer case consultation on complex cases, barriers, relapse risk, and continuity of care.
• Guide use of ASAM criteria and appropriate level-of-care recommendations.
• Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning for quality and medical necessity.
• Provide direction on ASAM Level 1 and Level 2.1 services and documentation quality.
• Support staff through training, competency development, and ongoing professional development.
• Participate in clinical case reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with Maryland regulations, Medicaid, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2.
