Job summary

Tarrant County College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Law Enforcement Academy (Non-Credit) at the Northwest Campus. The position supports student success by delivering instruction, using college resources, and leveraging educational technology.

Reporting to the NW CE Criminal Justice department, the adjunct will teach based on a master syllabus, coordinate with the supervisor, and maintain records. Courses vary in schedule; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A regionally accredited degree is required; related experience may substitute per college policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the college Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college staff via email, calls, and meetings.
• Prepare assignments and assessments to ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines.
• Provide timely feedback and post grades in the LMS weekly.
• Assist in dual-credit course assignments when needed.
