Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned course on campus by delivering course content, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, and providing timely feedback.
• Teaches online via learning management system following JWU outlines and standards
• Maintains course sites in the learning management system and updates grade center weekly
• Maintains attendance, academic achievement, and performance records per university policies
• Distributes syllabi with objectives, materials, attendance policy and evaluation criteria to each course
• Communicates with student, department chair, and academic counselor for students at risk
• References students to university support services as needed
• Updates faculty information system and maintains teaching credentials
• Attends faculty orientation and meetings as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
