Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of fabric care and laundry procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and laundry equipment safely.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to management.
• Fold and organize clean laundry for distribution to departments or storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine cleaning of machines.
• Track laundry inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Assist in housekeeping as Room Attendant or House Person as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
