Rochester Regional Health in Newark, NY seeks a part-time Laundry Assistant in Environmental Services for Day/Evening shifts (11:00 AM–5:00 PM). The role sorts, washes, dries, folds, and delivers laundry for residents, maintaining clean work areas and proper clothing tagging.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, supervising chemical levels, and following infection control procedures while delivering courteous service to patients and staff.

• Ensure all clothing is properly tagged and delicate fabrics are handled appropriately.
• Maintain proper chemical levels in washing machines and clean washer filters and dryer lint traps.
• Follow infection control principles and safety/regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, orderly laundry room and properly store chemicals and cleaners.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to resident requests and addressing concerns promptly.
