Job summary

River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, South Carolina, is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for part-time work. You will help provide clean clothing, linens, and bedding for residents and support a sanitary, comfortable environment.

Key duties include maintaining supply of clean linens, handling resident laundry, sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, delivering to rooms, inspecting for damage, and following sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness.
• Ability to manage linen inventory and daily resident laundry.
• Willingness to follow sanitation and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.
• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Label resident clothing items as needed.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn or stained items from service.
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as needed.
