Job summary

Manchester Rehab and Healthcare is looking for a Laundry Aide to join our team in Ballwin, Missouri. This part-time position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities include sorting and processing laundry, folding and delivering resident laundry daily, operating washers and dryers, and assisting with closet organization. Crosstraining may occur to cover extended illnesses and other housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications

• Understand and adhere to Compliance Standards, Code of Conduct and all policies.
• Attend and participate in department meetings and inservices, monthly all staffs, on the job training programs and others.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc.
• Fold and deliver residents' laundry daily.
• Load and empty washers and dryers.
• Arrange clothes on racks in a numerical sequence and prepare them for delivery.
• Assist Nursing staff with cleaning out residents' closets.
• Crossover to Housekeeping to cover extended illnesses.
• Any other jobs assigned to Housekeeping Supervisor or Administrator.
