Job summary

Silverado in Lee's Summit is seeking a Part Time Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. You will collect, clean and sort laundry, ensure proper handling of garments and linens, and support the department goals while maintaining a safe, sanitary community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens.
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community.
