Job summary

The Waters of Tipton is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team for the evening shift. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by processing linens and personal laundry efficiently and with care.

Responsibilities include sorting, operating washers and dryers, folding and distributing linens, labeling clothing, and following infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry bags and carts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior laundry or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Commitment to resident dignity, respect, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process linens and residents’ personal laundry.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment.
• Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens to designated areas.
• Label and track residents’ clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Report damaged items or equipment concerns to supervisor.
• Assist with linen inventory and supply management.
