Job summary

Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in North Providence, RI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to help maintain clean linens and resident clothing, ensuring comfort and dignity for our residents. Responsibilities include collecting laundry from rooms, washing and drying, folding and returning items, keeping areas organized, and following infection control procedures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and prior laundry or housekeeping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Laundry Aide or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
• Wash, dry and care for resident clothing and linens per procedures.
• Fold, sort and return clean laundry to residents neatly.
• Maintain organized laundry areas and operate equipment safely.
• Assist with non-clinical tasks to support facility operations.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines to stay sanitary.
• Report issues with damaged or missing items to staff.
