Job summary

Greenville Center is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Greenville, RI. You will help keep residents’ clothing and the facility linens clean, fresh, and ready to use, contributing to a home-like atmosphere for our residents.

The role is 16 hours per week, with a schedule that fits steady part-time work. Training is provided if you have prior laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience, and you’ll follow safety and infection control

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping or healthcare experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver resident clothing and facility linens.
• Operate washers, dryers and other laundry equipment safely.
• Label resident clothing and return items to the correct rooms.
• Handle soiled and contaminated linens following infection control procedures.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized and stocked with supplies.
• Report damaged equipment, missing items or supply needs to your supervisor.
• Treat residents’ personal belongings with care and respect.
