Position Overview

Delaware Valley Floral Group is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our Cranberry Township, PA team. This role involves operating a refrigerated box truck to deliver fresh floral products to flower shops across Western PA, Northern WV, and OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16ft refrigerated box truck for daily deliveries.
• Ensure timely delivery of flowers and floral supplies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Work in warehouse and cooler environments, using equipment like pallet jacks, box cutters, and RF scanners.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Follow optimized delivery routes using GPS.
• Perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading and handling products up to 60 pounds.
• Comply with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Start at 3:30 AM, with hours ending upon route completion.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Good vision and focus.

Work Environment & Requirements

• Warehouse and cooler environments (34°F).
• Experience driving 16ft or larger commercial vehicles (2+ years).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required).
• Clean driving record, reviewed biannually.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with maps and GPS.
• Time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and hardworking.
• Pass pre-employment screenings.
