Center for Public Partnerships & Research in Topeka, KS, seeks a Language Consultant for the Spring 2027 course LING 421: Capstone Typology. You will work with students to elicitate a language and translate from English, with in-person class attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Lawrence and additional small-group sessions as needed.

The position runs about 5 hours per week, starts the week of January 26, 2027, and pays $20.00 per hour. No lesson planning or grading duties are required.

Formación

• Native speaker of a language other than English.
• Fluent speaker of English.

• Attend class in-person up to 2 times per week and be present for outside elicitation.
• Translate words and phrases from English.
