Required is a Bachelor of Nursing, Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS, and IBCLC certification. Experience within the past five years or being a new graduate within two years is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and care for breast-feeding patients as a clinically competent RN.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff and other disciplines to optimize lactation care.
• Teach and demonstrate breast-feeding nursing techniques to patients.
• Develop nursing care procedures for lactation support.
• Ensure safe, effective, cost-conscious delivery of nursing services while maintaining ANA standards.
