Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking a part-time Soils and Materials Laboratory technician in Riverside, California. The technician will perform geotechnical/materials laboratory testing in compliance with industry standards.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The pay range is $20.00-$25.00 per hour, along with a competitive benefits package including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials testing on soils, asphalt, concrete, reinforcing steel, high-strength bolts, and structural steel.
• Use sound professional judgment with minimal supervision.
• Safely handle and transport concrete samples and soil samples.
