Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Clerk for the Day Shift at UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The role supports essential clerical and phlebotomy tasks, logging specimens, processing samples, charting, and maintaining accurate records.

This part-time position runs 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, 16 hours per week, including weekends as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, basic Windows computer skills, and sharp attention

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Log in specimens, process samples for reference labs, file, answer phones.
Provide phlebotomy services for outpatients (first shift only).
Greet patients and visitors with clear, compassionate communication.
Maintain accurate records and manage priorities under direct supervision.
Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain an efficient and organized work environment.
