Job summary

Celerion in Lincoln, NE seeks a detail-oriented Laboratory Operations Assistant to support daily activities within the bioanalytical department. The role focuses on handling analytical instruments, managing sample materials, and ensuring data integrity through QC reviews.

Part-time, about 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with flexible scheduling. Compensation is $17.00 per hour; benefits are not included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Post-secondary coursework in science-related disciplines is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, inventory, and dispose of laboratory solutions in line with SOPs and safety standards.
• Receive, log, organize, and store biological samples per SOPs; maintain freezer logs.
• Perform real-time QC reviews of production documents and bioanalytical records.
