Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time courier for day shift to support MercyOne facilities. You will transport laboratory specimens, mail, and supplies between affiliated sites and our lab customers.

Join a team that emphasizes safety, accuracy, and reliable service while maintaining temperature controls and following established guidelines. Prior experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Two years’ courier experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive per state law.

Responsibilities

• Transport laboratory specimens, mail and materials with excellent customer service.
• Follow infection control, safety policies and bloodborne pathogens guidelines.
• Handle chemicals safely per protocols.
• Meet workload productivity standards and support LEAN practices.
• Use courier software to track packages and document routes.
• Maintain required storage temperatures for sensitive materials.
• Keep vehicles and bags clean and organized.
• Attend department huddles and follow procedures for tracking packages.
• Assist in training peers.
