Part-time Lab Assistant - Health Sciences

Position Details:

• Part-time, temporary position on an as-needed basis.
• Assist with lab courses in the School of Health Sciences, focusing on Surgical Technology and Therapeutic Massage.

Surgical Technology responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and organized lab environment.
• Assist students during lab activities and set up for competency testing.
• Manage inventory and supplies, including stocking and ordering as needed.

Therapeutic Massage responsibilities:

• Laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and folding bedding for the on-campus massage clinic.
• Transport supplies between locations using carts.
• Organize lab space and perform light cleaning.

Document activities and resolve issues via email or written reports.

Assist other programs or the Dean of Health Sciences as needed for lab setup or testing.

Work hours: Flexible, 15-20 hours per week.
