Job summary

Sjcindiana is seeking a part-time Laboratory Assistant in the Adult Probation - CSAP Division. Work hours are 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to Noon Saturdays.

This role involves handling drug testing paperwork, specimen collection oversight, and payment processing within a county system. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and the ability to work with others under time pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in specimen collection preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Processes clients' paperwork, including printing forms and labels, issuing ID cards, and generating consent forms for drug test results.
• Oversees/observes specimen collection and maintains samples in order.
• Receives and verifies payment for drug testing and records payments in WINTOX.
• Performs standard duties per established procedures and safeguards.
• Maintains frequent contact with coworkers, clients, other departments, and the public.
