Job summary

Collington, a Kendal Affiliate, located in Mitchellville, Maryland, is seeking a Kitchen Utility Aide to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health standards. You will wash dishes, assist with basic food prep, and help maintain logs.

This on-site role supports operations during peak service hours and requires strong teamwork and reliability. The position offers weekend hours (Sat & Sun, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with an hourly wage of $16, reflecting the fast-paced senior living

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant utility is a plus.
Prior experience in a Senior living community is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cleans and sanitizes glassware, china, flatware, and kitchen equipment according to schedules.
Operates and maintains the dishwashing machine and reports malfunctions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas.
Distributes and stores clean pots, pans, glassware, and utensils properly.
Sets up and maintains dishwashing and pot-washing stations for efficient workflow.
Restocks clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
