Job summary

The Lakes at Litchfield is seeking a Part‑Time Utility Aide (dishwasher) to support daily kitchen operations and maintain a clean, sanitary environment. You will assist with dishwashing, food preparation support, and event setup under the direction of the Executive Chef / Director of Dining Services.

Open Interviews are held on Tuesdays from 11‑2. Prior experience preferred; the role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting to ensure smooth kitchen

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position desired.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, scrub and dry dishes, utensils, beverage containers, and pots.
• Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen areas.
• Support kitchen team during busy times.
• Assist with receiving, inspection and storage of supplies.
• Help with food preparation and portion control as needed.
• Set up and break down dining events as assigned.
• Follow sanitation programs and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company guidelines.
