Qualifications

• Two years kitchen experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of knives and knife skills.
• Working knowledge of equipment including slicing machine, juicer, Cryovac machine, small wares.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Sous Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels and changes.
• Prepare opening duties: set up work station with mis en place, inspect tools and supplies.
• Process requisitions and organize items for the day.
• Inform Sous Chef of excess items for daily specials or other use.
• Communicate needed assistance during busy periods to ensure service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Disinfect cutting boards and worktables.
• Breakdown station and complete closing duties, store items properly.
• Rotate inventory and restock depleted items.
• Stay knowledgeable of departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
