Job summary

Monarch Communities in Brandywine Senior Living’s community in Phoenixville, PA is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen and wash equipment for meals and activities. You will deliver excellent service to staff and residents while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires following written and verbal instructions, prior kitchen/foodservice experience preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior service/kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen area in accordance with standards.
• Operate dishwashing equipment properly and safely.
• Wash pots, pans, utensils, dishes and silverware; ensure proper storage.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and chemical dispensers are functioning correctly.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and use safety equipment as required.
• Empty and clean kitchen garbage and transport to dumpster.
• Assist in dining room by clearing dishes during service and returning them to the dishwashing station.
• Participate in in-service trainings and adhere to all policies and procedures.
