Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa is opening in November 2026 and seeks a Kitchen Attendant to join the founding team. This entry-level, part-time role supports the kitchen with cleaning, prep, and basic food-related tasks, enabling the culinary team to deliver Masterful Nourishment.

No prior kitchen experience is required, and training will be provided to ensure safety and efficiency. As a founding member of the Kitchen team, you will learn procedures, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with cooks.

Qualifications

• No previous kitchen experience or formal culinary education required.
• Willingness to obtain food-safety certification within required timeframe.
• Ability to follow instructions, checklists and established procedures accurately.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization and food safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Dependability to complete assigned responsibilities within required timelines.
• Willingness to safely use commercial dishwashing, sanitation and kitchen equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing, preparation, storage and back-of-house areas.
• Complete basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, portioning and simple ingredient preparation.
• Follow cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures and food-safety requirements.
• Keep kitchen equipment, floors, work surfaces, storage areas and waste areas clean and orderly.
• Restock cookware, utensils, cleaning supplies and other kitchen essentials.
• Follow proper food-storage, labeling and rotation procedures when handling products.
• Remove waste and recycling safely according to established procedures.
• Use kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals safely.
• Complete assigned opening, production and closing responsibilities.
• Respond promptly when cooks require clean equipment, cookware or operational support.
• Report equipment, maintenance, food-safety and workplace-safety concerns promptly.
• Support teammates during preparation and busy service periods.
• Participate fully in required training and coaching.
