LearnWell in Riverside, RI is seeking a part-time teacher to support 5-18 year old patients in a behavioral health facility. The role runs 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 1 PM, providing academic support in a small classroom setting during treatment.

The position involves delivering lessons, adapting teaching strategies, and communicating student progress while maintaining attendance records and reports.

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Rhode Island teaching license (required).
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation

Responsabilités

• Deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Class sizes range from 8 to 15 students at any time.
