Job summary

Boiler & Property Consulting, LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a part-time Jurisdictional Boiler Inspector to perform in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels in the Fort Lauderdale area.

You will develop a deep understanding of codes, provide high-level service, input inspections into systems, and advise customers on jurisdictional rules to keep operations safe with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working with boilers & pressure vessels
• National Board commission
• High School diploma or equivalent; BS in Engineering or Associate’s Degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and deep understanding of the codes and regulations.
• Provide a high level of service in accordance with BPC standard work procedures.
• Input completed inspections into the latest systems.
• Consult with customer on repairs, maintenance programs, jurisdictional requirements and other location specific issues.
• Follow up and close out recommendations in a timely manner.
• Help customers navigate jurisdictional laws and rules to keep them operating safely with the least amount of lost productivity.
