Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a motivated Job Coach to join the Farmington Career Center. The role supports individuals with disabilities, guiding and assisting at job sites during the critical first weeks to ensure successful employment outcomes.

The position is on an as-needed basis with varying morning/afternoon/evening/weekend hours. A High School Diploma is required; higher education is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience working in social services required.
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with participants to help meet employer expectations for task completion and speed.
• Provide ongoing training to improve participant work performance after employer training.
• Troubleshoot to create accommodations or other solutions for performance issues.
• Support participants to develop and maintain relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Develop natural supports on the job and build relationships with supervisors.

Education
