The position supports Employment Path Solo services, focusing on individualized skill development, career exploration, and progress toward competitive integrated employment. Hours vary; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED, or acceptable combination of experience and education.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred but not required (training provided).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to model and teach employment skills.
• Positive work ethics including punctuality, dependability, and task completion.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems (e.g., SetWorks) preferred.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals who are disabled to acquire and develop the skills, behaviors, attitudes, and personal characteristics for work.
• Arrive on time at the job site.
• Dress appropriately as required by the site.
• Assist participants in performing responsibilities to foster independence.
• Continually assess employment, social, communication, and independent skills.
• Perform task analyses and provide guidance to participants.
• Identify job site modifications and discuss with supervisor.
• Maintain agency records professionally and with prescribed guidelines.
• Report needs, problems, or concerns to supervisor.
• Submit daily progress reports within 48 hours of each shift.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and committees.
• Support compliance with policies and regulations.
• Complete a minimum of 12 hours of training annually.
• Other duties as assigned.
