Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a Part-time Instructor in Jazz and/or Modern Dance. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Dance Program, prepare materials, and deliver instruction through various formats including classroom, online, and hybrid.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree from an accredited institution or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience. Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred.

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with relevant industry experience.
• Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the Dance Program, including performance and technique units.
• Prepare course materials and deliver instruction in various formats.
• Support student learning outcomes and teach at multiple CSN campus locations.

Education

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Bachelor’s degree with exceptional professional skill and relevant industry experience
