Job summary

The Budd Group in Lookout Mountain, TN, is seeking a Janitorial Site Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and oversee day-to-day operations at the client site. You will supervise hourly cleaners, assign zones, and ensure high cleanliness standards while maintaining client satisfaction.

This part-time role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, ability to train staff on cleaning techniques and safety, and to manage resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience (janitorial, commercial cleaning, or facilities management preferred).
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift/move up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to follow detailed written/oral instructions, operate basic cleaning equipment, and follow safety/chemical handling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor supplies, request restocks, and report equipment repairs as needed.
• Hands-on Support: Conduct safety huddles, approve timesheets, and assist with cleaning tasks or specialized projects.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours/week) | Non-Exempt

Reports To: Operations / Account Manager

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Site Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and oversee day-to-day operations at our client site in Lookout Mountain, TN (off Birmingham Hwy). In this role, you will lead hourly cleaners, ensure high standards of cleanliness, train new team members, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Directly supervise hourly cleaners, assign daily cleaning zones, project tasks, and execute schedules.

• Quality Assurance: Perform regular inspections of completed work to maintain company standards and address any areas needing improvement.

• Training & Safety: Train staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, PPE, and chemical safety in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

• Client & Manager Communication: Serve as a point of contact for daily client requests, reporting performance and site updates to the Account Manager.

• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor supplies, request chemical restocks, and report equipment repairs as needed.

• Hands-on Support: Conduct safety huddles, approve timesheets, and assist with cleaning tasks or specialized projects (floor care, carpet extraction) when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience (janitorial, commercial cleaning, or facilities management preferred).
