Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member in Matthews, NC. The role offers a flexible schedule with morning shifts from 7 am to 10 am, Sunday through Saturday. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.

You will clean rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, maintain logs, and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals as part of a fast-paced team. Requirements include ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk long hours, and read safety documents in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English).

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
