Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a part-time janitor to keep facilities in Sparks, NV clean and orderly. You will perform heavy cleaning duties such as floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and trash removal, following established procedures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and reliability. OSHA 10 certification is strongly preferred; strong attention to detail helps maintain a safe, healthy environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture and baseboards for a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas needing cleaning and completes tasks.
• Performs tasks in accordance with federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
