Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time janitor in Wilmington, NC. The role involves general cleaning across client sites with early morning hours from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Sunday through Saturday. Pay is $13.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions. On-the-job training is provided, and janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; or six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training provided.
• Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste per client requirements.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or client needs.
