Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time janitor in Alexandria, VA. The role involves all-purpose cleaning and maintenance for client sites, with mornings from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, five hours daily, Monday through Sunday. The position offers weekly pay and immediate on-the-job training.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or six months janitorial experience) and a keen eye for detail, plus the ability to follow instructions. Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste or recyclables as directed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with proper cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitation supplies.
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client needs.
