Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a part-time Janitor for evening shifts at our Price, UT facility. You will maintain clean office areas, perform routine cleaning tasks, and support a safe work environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM; we offer competitive benefits and a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience.
• Proven working experience as a Janitor.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Clean and disinfect office equipment and sanitize high touch surfaces.
• Steam-clean carpets and clean windows; dust furniture and scrub surfaces.
• Move heavy equipment and report repairs; stock supplies and maintain restrooms.

Position Summary: Responsible for cleaning buildings and keeping office areas clean by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5pm - 9pm

Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned.

• Clean buildings by emptying trash, cleaning surfaces, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
• Clean and disinfect office equipment
• Sanitize high touch surfaces
• Steam-clean carpets as needed
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Mix various cleaning agents
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• Move heavy equipment and furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Stock all toilet paper and paper towel dispensers
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations, understand potential chemical hazards
• Identify and report possible repairs

Other Duties

• - Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Comes to work on time.

• - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• - Proven working experience as a Janitor
• - Ability to handle heavy equipment
• - The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

• - Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• - Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally

• - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work a 40-hour work week and additional time as required.
