Job summary

OTC Services is seeking a part-time Janitorial Worker to join our facilities cleaning team in Burlington Township, NJ. The role involves cleaning assigned facilities, restrooms, and common areas, following contracted standards and safety guidelines.

You will assist with inventory, reporting deficiencies, and interacting professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory.
• Provide cleaning of assigned facilities and equipment in accordance with acceptable practices as defined by contract and outlined by management.
• Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing and polishing floors, removing trash and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; maintaining-restocking of supplies and cleaning - sanitizing of lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Interact professionally with supervisors, managers, co-workers, and customers.
• Maintain accountability of assigned supplies and equipment utilizing them per manufacturer guidelines and supervisor instruction.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned work in a timely fashion and to acceptable quality standards.
• Report all deficiencies, lost or broken equipment, damage of customer property and other discrepancies to Janitorial Supervisor.
• Report as scheduled or provide management with adequate notification of absence.
• Participate in all scheduled training, comply with company, customer, safety and related guidelines.
• Maintain quality control of all assigned buildings.
• Operate and 'respect' equipment under supervision of Janitorial Supervisor and Project Manager.
• Provide any other assigned duties and adherence to regulations outlined in The Statement of Work (SOW).
• Cooperate with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations.
