Excel Facility Services is seeking a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning service at our Piscataway, NJ locations. Duties include general cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining a neat, safe work environment.

The role requires punctuality, the ability to follow instructions, and basic cleaning techniques. The schedule is full-time with on-site work and a strong emphasis on safety and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions.
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location.
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building.
• Restock supplies in areas assigned.
• Notify supervisor of repairs of facilities and/or equipment.
• Participate in workshops, training, and seminars.
• Request janitorial supplies to ensure adequate quantities.
• Ensure doors are locked at night.
• Use Time and Attendance system to report hours.
• Complete IVR system or notify manager ASAP if any issues.
• Wear uniform and IDs at all times.

You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition, you will be required to execute the scope of work for all assigned locations and locations assigned to you by management for coverage.

Janitor's Responsibilities:

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
