Job summary

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a Service Technician II (Part-Time) to join the IT team in San Antonio, TX. The role offers a competitive starting pay of $16 per hour with a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401k with matching.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure, assist with hardware/software management, and provide excellent user support. Must be 18+, weekend availability, valid driver's license, and have IT experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work weekends (Sat-Sun) along with select weekdays.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
• About 2 years of IT experience in a related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to learn and support new hardware and software applications quickly.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Knowledge of commonly used operating systems and software applications is preferred.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal direction, monitors Service Desk communication channels and records service requests and incidents in the ticketing system.
• Conduct daily status checks on systems such as UPS, servers, firewalls, and network switches; report issues to IS Leadership or support teams.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of a Windows 10 environment.
• Provide courteous and timely responses to incoming support requests via phone and other channels.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with computers, telephones, POS systems, and other hardware.
• Perform hardware and software installations on Windows-based PCs.
• Use Service Desk software to log, monitor, and close IT service requests with documentation.
• Support the administration and maintenance of phone and voicemail systems.
• Adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Act as a technical liaison between IT and guests and associates with professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by IS Leadership.
