Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for a part-time Technology Services support position in North Las Vegas. The role focuses on delivering friendly, hands-on computer lab support and helping students, faculty, and staff with basic tech questions.

Training will be provided and duties may cover lab, office, or both, depending on need. Ideal candidates are CSN students or those with an interest in information technology who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of computers and common software.
• Willing to learn new tools and procedures.
• Strong communication and courteous customer service.
• Prior IT or help desk experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support in the computer lab during hours.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with basic tech questions.
• Monitor equipment and ensure availability of resources.
• Direct users to appropriate resources and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Assist with imaging, deploying computers, and equipment handling.
• Maintain organized work areas and inventory records.
