Job summary

Lone Star College in Texas is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Computer Technology courses. You will plan, develop and deliver lessons, and support student learning across a range of classes and times at various campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in an IT or IT related field and 3 years non-teaching work experience or relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Computer Technology courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Uses a course syllabus following institutional guidelines.
• Meets with and advises students before/after class or by appointment.
• Evaluates students and informs them of progress in a timely manner.
• Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.
