Job summary

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for a part-time, faculty wage (non-tenure eligible) position beginning in January 2027 to teach a course on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship to students in the Masters of Science in Commerce program (1.5 credit hours, for a payment of $4,500 - $6,000).

Any additional courses that are taught by the applicant would be paid at the same rate (of $3,000 - $4,000 per credit hour).

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field is highly preferred; master's with 15+ years of experience may substitute.
• Industry or educational experience in entrepreneurship is required; teaching in higher education is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and a teamwork-oriented environment.
