Summary

The Outlet Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing inbound merchandise at the outlet location. This part-time, temporary role supports store operations by ensuring accurate intake, proper tagging, and timely movement of product to the sales floor and stockroom. The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy and a well-organized backroom.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and sort incoming shipments at the dock and stockroom.
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists and report discrepancies.
• Tag, label, and prepare merchandise for storage or placement on the sales floor.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and secure stockroom following loss-prevention procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and use handheld scanners as needed.

Requirements

• Prior retail receiving, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise regularly, including items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic experience with inventory systems or handheld scanners preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and physical stamina.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule including weekends and holidays; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
