Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a part-time Inventory Manager to lead in-store inventory control. You will report to the Store Manager and ensure accurate receiving, transfer, pricing, and tag updates while maintaining data integrity across the store system.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel and computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support store operations.

• Experience with retail inventory principles.
• Understanding flow of merchandise from receiving to sale.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all store inventory; manage receiving from vendors.
• Oversee inter-store transfers and credits.
• Maintain data accuracy in inventory systems and labels.
• Monitor shrinkage and assist Store Manager to reduce loss.
• Complete cycle counts and hardware reports as required.
