Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) seeks a Part-Time Introduction to Construction Bootcamp Instructor for a three-week program in Natchitoches and Sabine Valley. The instructor will deliver classroom and hands-on training focused on construction safety, NCCER Core curriculum, basic carpentry skills, and workplace readiness.
Requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to travel within Northwest Louisiana, flexible scheduling, and the ability to pass a background check.
This posting is for a part-time position for a three (3) week program in Natchitoches and Sabine Valley.
Salary - $50.00 per hour
Days/Times: hours vary, day and/or night; as needed basis.

Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is seeking a qualified Part-Time Introduction to Construction Bootcamp Instructor to teach a three (3)-week, hands‑on training program designed to prepare students for entry‑level careers in the construction industry. The instructor will deliver classroom instruction and practical lab activities covering construction safety, basic hand and power tools, construction math, NCCER Core curriculum, material identification, and foundational carpentry skills while promoting professionalism and workplace readiness.
Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, and handle or feel objects and controls. Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Capable of lifting and carrying equipment and materials up to 70 pounds.
Dexterity to operate carpentry and other construction related equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands‑on demonstrations.
